I am searching for information related to the parents of Frances Boyle Seymour. She had three siblings: Stephen, Alice and Joseph. I have hit a brickwall and can go no further in learning of the family lineage. Anyone out there have any suggestions? Much appreciated!
I am trying to find information about my great grandfather Frederick W. Wilson, who was born on August 1, 1887 in Bermuda. I don’t know where in Bermuda he was born at but I was very curious about his parents and who they were.
If anyone can or knows of any information about this, please feel free to let me know.
Hello. I’m researching several of my family lines that came through and lived in Bermuda islands. A several times back grandfather is Thomas Clement Greatbatch b. 1650 in Bermuda. We are having discrepancies in who his wife was and who is the mother of children Daniel Greatbatch b. 1678 and Ruth Greatbatch b. 1680. Both children born in Bermuda. I also have direct line of Rivers family. Can you tell me if you have any online books that have the Greatbatch family history and lines or any other information you can share with me? Are there any books for sale with that information. The surname is also spelled as Greatbeach. I’ve been wanting to travel to Bermuda to research but have been unable to because I have a special needs child and can’t travel. Thank you very much, anything you can assist me with will mean a lot to me.
Debra
I’m a direct descendent Ambrose Gosling (1786 – 1857) – my 3rd great grandfather. I’m trying to find information on Emily Erskine Gosling née Cushman (my great grandmother) and her only daughter – Emily Elizabeth Gilbert Gosling (my grand aunt). My GG Emily died in Natrona, PA on December 22, 1904 – 17 days after giving birth to my grand aunt. From what I can find out, she died from typhoid fever.
Ambrose Gosling (1860 – 1928) came to the U.S. and urgently took young Emily to live with he and his wife Elizabeth in their London Home.
Young Emily appears to have grown up between London and Hamilton. She eventually married a Royal Navy officer (Paymaster-Lieutenant Martin Lawrey), had children by him and seemed be a very long way from her tragic beginning. He was killed aboard the H.M.S. Courageous in 1939 – the first ship lost in WWII.
I’m searching for pictures of her mother and father (Charles Gosling), and Emily herself. Also, any additional information on them I can find.
